Changes to the carpark in September
The Governors have received a number of concerns regarding dangers of vehicles within the carpark at the end of the day.
After discussion of the issues it has been decided that in the new academic year we will be making the carpark area a pedestrian only area during the times of 2:45pm and 3:30pm. There will be no vehicular access or exit between these times to enable parents and children to safely exit the premises on foot.
Vehicular movement at these congested times has recently resulted in damage to other cars and a number of our school community having to dodge reversing cars. One of the twin gates of the main entrance will remain open to allow pedestrian access through the carpark.
Please note that cars parked within the school carpark will not be able to exit until 3:30pm. This includes members of staff, visitors to the site and parents.
