Journey into Pentecost

Inspired by a painting from the Philippine artist Edgardo de Guzman, this pack offers children and their families new and creative ways to engage with the story of Pentecost.

Spirited Arts & Poetry Competition

You're invited to take part in this annual competition, making a piece of artwork
or poetry on one of five themes:

  • God’s good earth?
  • Inspiring!
  • Holy Words
  • Where is God?
  • Picturing Faith

The competition gives you a
chance to be creative and imaginative in RE. It is all about spiritual ideas and your skills.

Collective worship

You can join in with Faith at Home - the Oak National Academy's weekly collective worship sessions, led by Church of England’s schools and in partnership with those of other faith traditions. Suitable for those of all faiths and none.

Bible stories

When we have worship in class, the teacher and children will share a Bible story from their illustrated class Bible. You might like to share these stories with your child at home.
