FAQs

Q: Do I have to pay for sessions if my child is ill?
A: Yes, all sessions booked must be paid for. If you have paid in advance for a hot school dinner this can be cancelled and refunded.
Please let us know if your child is off ill as soon as possible on the day so we can monitor our attendance records.

Q: Do I have to pay for sessions if my child is on holiday?
A: Yes, all sessions booked must be paid for. Please complete a holiday form at the office so we can mark our registers accordingly.

Q: Can you give my child calpol if they are unwell?
A: Warwickshire guidelines state children may only attend nursery if they are fit and healthy. If a child needs calpol they are probably not well enough to have a happy day at nursery. We can only give prescribed medication upon the completion of a consent form. If your child becomes unwell at nursery, we will contact you to collect your child. Please keep your contact details up to date with the office.

Q: Can I cancel sessions?
A: If you no longer need any particular sessions please let us know as soon as possible - 4 weeks' written notice is required, or 4 weeks' fees in lieu of notice.

Q: Can I book extra sessions?
A: We would be happy to discuss this with you based on spaces being available. Please ask at the office.

Q: Does my child have to be toilet trained to come to nursery?
A: No, children develop at different rates, and some children coming into our nursery may still be wearing nappies or be in the process of toilet training. We see toilet training as a self-care skill that children have the opportunity to learn with the full support of adults both in the nursery and at home. Please let nursery staff know and we will complete a nappy changing or toilet training plan with you. Read our nappy changing policy here.
