Vacancy 1: Teaching Assistant with Midday Supervisor duties

The Governors of Coleshill C of E Primary School & Nursery are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with Midday Supervisor duties who is committed to helping our children flourish and achieve their full potential within the context of our Christian Vision and Values.

You will be joining one of the BDMAT Academies who are committed to promoting ‘Life in all its fullness’ for both pupils and staff. 

The role is 8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday, 31.25 hours in total, split into the following contracts:

Monday to Friday, 21.25 hours per week

Term time only + 5 INSET days (39 weeks)

Permanent

Salary:

Band F, 6-11 (£19,171 - £21,166 pro-rata)

Midday Supervisor - please see the job description here

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 10 hours per week (split 6.25 hours Permanent, 3.75 hours Temporary)

Term time only (38 weeks)

Salary:

Band B, 1-2 (£17,364 - £17,711 pro-rata)

 

The successful candidate will be someone who:  

  • Is enthusiastic, positive and reliable.  
  • Holds a recognised and relevant NVQ level 2 qualification or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, experience and skills. 
  • Has a passion for supporting children to progress in their learning.  
  • Will be able to establish positive relationships with all children, parents and members of staff.   
  • Will be able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.  
  • Will be proactive and use their own initiative whilst also working within established policies and procedures.  
  • Can communicate effectively with children and adults.  
  • Has strong literacy and numeracy skills.  
  • Will be confident preparing and managing resources to support children's needs and understanding.
  • Has high expectations of what children can achieve.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 3.00pm – 5.30pm, 12.5 hours per week

Term time only (38 weeks) 

Permanent

Salary:

Band D, 3-4 (£18,065 - £18,426 pro-rata)

 

The successful candidate will be someone who:  

  • Is enthusiastic, positive and reliable.  
  • Holds a recognised and relevant NVQ level 2 qualification or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, experience and skills. 
  • Has a passion for supporting children to progress in their learning.

Coleshill C of E Primary School & Nursery is a two form entry primary school of around 400 pupils located Warwickshire. We have great facilities, dynamic teaching within a varied curriculum and an approach to pastoral care that celebrates our Christian ethos.
