We are committed to providing a healthy environment for our pupils and take part in the Healthy Schools initiative. The priority areas we are concentrating on are emotional health and well being (focusing on anti-bullying, friendships and falling out) and obesity (focusing on healthy eating). Activities have included parent workshops, a whole school anti-bullying week and an anti-bullying charter (displayed in the entrance hall) agreed to by all the children. |

We are also aware of our impact on the environment, and run an Eco-Club with representatives from each year group. We achieved the silver Eco-Schools award in 2011, and are currently working towards the Green Flag award with a focus on recycling. For more information see the noticeboard in the school hall. |
